About the Teacher:
-Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Massachusetts.
-Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University.
-Recipient of the George Mulfinger Prize for Piano and the Evalina Vernon Honsinger Award for Music History.
-Recipient of a Graduate Teaching Assistantship at the University of Massachusetts.
-Member of the Oregon Music Teachers Association (OMTA), Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and Pi Kappa Lambda, an honor society for musicians in higher education.
-20 years of teaching experience, including college level instruction in piano, music history & music
theory.
-I make piano fun and interesting for students so that students improve in all musical areas in just a short time.
About the Studio:
-Centrally located in Beaverton, 5 minutes from Rte. 26.
-Spacious, comfortable studio featuring a new 7-foot concert grand piano.
-Extensive library of piano CDs, DVDs and scores.

based on careful attention to the fundamentals of music. Music as a
wellspring for developing self-worth and creativity.
-Pre-college: Cultivation of a critical ear and a refined musical
sense. Development of an advanced technique as a means toward authentic
musical expression. Careful preparation of college audition repertoire.
-Adult Students: Lesson plans tailored to help adult learners
achieve individual goals. Score reading and music theory supplemented
as needed for beginners or for those renewing past studies.
